Morning Tea for Assam Flood Relief Appeal

On Thursday 15th August a morning tea was held to raise money for victims of the severe flooding experienced in Assam this monsoon season.

We raised nearly $450 which will be donated to SURE (Society for Unified Rural Empowerment) providing survival kits to families who have lost their crops, or are homeless due to the flooding. The kits, costing around $2 contain 2kg rice, 3kg potatoes, 1L cooking oil, soap, 250g tea and mosquito repellent.
