Continuing Professional Education

Continuing professional education (also know as Industry Master Classes) is designed to deliver the cutting-edge professional education on the new knowledge and development in the construction management discipline for empowering the Practicing Engineers in the field.

In May 2019 Dr Purobi Patowary and Dr Manjuri Hazarika visited the University of Melbourne and developed a series of new Professional Short Courses in construction management. These courses were designed to deliver maximum benefits to participants in a compressed format. The courses will be offered during the 2019/2020 Academic year at Assam Engineering college. In addition, customised courses will be offered based on demand at the request of a particular agency (public or private) as necessary. The target stakeholders for the courses include PWD (buildings), PWD (roads), T&CP, GMDA, PHE. The courses are listed in the table.
