Dr. Sasanka Borah

Dr Borah is currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of Civil Engineering at Assam Engineering College. Dr Borah was a visiting scholar at the Smart Villages Lab (SVL) for a duration of eight weeks from 24 April 2017 till 18 June 2017. During the visit, Dr Borah undertook a series of activities in teaching and research for developing capacities in Construction Management practices in Assam.

Dr Borah developed three state of the art subjects for the new Construction Management program at Assam Engineering College, namely: Building Services and Operations; Sustainable Solutions for Building; and Construction Methods and Equipment. Under the guidance of a number of experts and project team members from the University of Melbourne, Dr Borah developed expertise in innovative teaching and learning techniques, and relevant research processes for supporting construction management practices in Assam.
